Norka Pravasi Raksha Insurance Policy (NPRI)
Norka Pravasi Raksha Insurance Policy is an insurance policy, launched by Norka Roots, for providing Critical illness care to NRKs.
Details of Coverage
A sum of Rs. 1 lakh is provided for critical illness (as per schedule) on the submission of a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner. In addition to critical illness care, there is an add-on benefit of Accident Insurance coverage of Rs. 3 lakhs for life and up to Rs. 1 lakh for permanent/ partial disability.
Eligibility
Should be a Pravasi residing or working abroad with a valid passport and visa for at least 6 months. Starting from 1st April 2025, expatriates residing within India will also be eligible to obtain the Pravasi Raksha Insurance policy. Age: 18-60 years
Validity
One year and can be renewed.
Documents needed for application
Before applying make sure that all the required documents are scanned and prepared in JPEG formats.
• Copies of front and address page of the passport
• Copy of Visa Page/ Iqama/ Work Permit/ Residence Permit
• College/ University details for Pravasi Student ID Card
• Photo and Signature of the applicant
Application fee
Application can be submitted online with a registration fee of Rs.661/- (including premium) (for one year)
Renewal
• You can apply for renewal within 30 days of the date of expiry.
• Copies of prescribed documents and renewal fee should be submitted.
