The recruitment is being conducted for Psychiatry Specialty Doctors in NHS Wales and will be held in connection with the 77th Annual National Conference of the Indian Psychiatric Society (ANCIPS 2026) in New Delhi. Recruitment will be carried out to the posts of Specialty Doctor with a salary range of £62,117 to £99,216 and International Senior Portfolio Pathway Doctor with a salary range of £100,870 to £111,442. Candidates with a minimum of four years’ experience in Psychiatry are eligible to apply for the Specialty Doctor post, while those with more than twelve years of experience in the specialty may apply for the International Senior Portfolio Pathway Doctor post. Doctors will have the opportunity for appointments of up to three years in the mental health services of Wales. Based on experience, an annual salary ranging from £59,727 to £95,400, along with other benefits, will be provided. Opportunities are available across sub-specialties including Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Older Adult, Adult Mental Health, Learning Disabilities. In addition to the salary, selected candidates will be eligible for benefits such as GMC registration sponsorship for up to three years, reimbursement of IELTS/OET, visa and e-portfolio access fees, a gratuity payment of £650, economy class flight tickets to the UK, and one month’s accommodation in the UK.
