NORKA Assisted & Mobilized Employment (NAME) Scheme
NORKA Assisted & Mobilized Employment (NAME) Scheme is an entrepreneurship development assistance project implemented by Norka Roots to rehabilitate expatriates who have returned to the State.
Most returning expatriates have extensive professional experience in various fields. The aim of this project is to create a foundation for them to secure employment in enterprises in Kerala. The NAME scheme helps provide employment in cooperative/private industry/trade/service sectors under various schemes in Kerala.
Not all returning expatriates are able to start their own enterprises due to various reasons. Through this, the knowledge and experience acquired by expatriates will be useful for enterprises in all sectors of Kerala, with the aim of providing more employment and employment opportunities to returned expatriates.
The aim is to ensure that returned expatriates have maximum workdays per year. The scheme benefits Kerala expatriates between 25 and 60 years of age who have returned from working abroad for at least two years.
