The NORKA Roots Free Ambulance Service Scheme is available for unwell Malayali expatriates as well as for the deceased. The ambulance service is made available to relocate the diseased or the deceased to a nearby hospital or to where the person resides. Services are available from airports in Kerala, Mangalore, and Coimbatore.

The NORKA Free Ambulance Service Scheme has been set up to cater to the long-standing needs of financially backward expatriate Keralites. The NORKA Emergency Ambulance Service is a scheme implemented by the Kerala State Government to transport the remains of expatriates to their homes and related hospitals, even when economically backward Kerala residents working abroad return unharmed.

The NORKA Emergency Ambulance Service is available at four airports in Kerala as well as at the airports in Coimbatore and Mangalore. Kerala residents in similar circumstances in other states of India can also call the NORKA Emergency Ambulance Service.

NORKA’s free ambulance service scheme has been in operation since 25th July 2018 and has provided 1364 free ambulance services to date. Friends or relatives of expatriates can contact Norka Global Contact Centre for this service.
