NRK Insurance Card introduced in June 2012 to serve as an Identity Card for NRKs residing in other states. NRK Insurance Card is the single stop entity for a non-resident Keralite to connect with the Kerala Government. This multi-purpose photo identity card entitles every NRK to avail all services and facilities offered by NORKA Roots, both now and in the future.

Benefits

NRK Insurance Card holders will be eligible for Personal Accident Insurance coverage of R. 4 Lakhs and up to a maximum of Rs. 2 Lakhs for permanent or partial disability.

Eligibility

•    Age: 18-70 years.
•    NRKs either residing or working in other states for the last two years.
•    Applications should be submitted with copies of government identity proof and proof of residence in respective states/copy of Aadhar Card.

Documents needed for NRK Insurance Card

Before applying make sure that all the required documents are scanned and prepared in PDF formats.

•    One recent passport size photo
•    Government ID proof with address of Copy of Aadhar Card
•    Signature of the applicant

Registration Fee

Rs. 372 per card.

Renewal of NRK Insurance Card

•    You can apply for renewal 3 months before the date of expiry
•    Copies of prescribed documents and renewal fee should be submitted.

Validity of NRK Insurance Card

•    Valid for three years and can be renewed.
