Norka Roots is the only state-run agency under Government of Kerala, authorized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India to facilitate overseas recruitment. Norka recruits nurses, doctors, technicians and housemaids for various foreign employers in GCC countries. Transparency, quality recruitment service, minimum recruitment charges and corrupt free recruitment process are the hallmarks of Norka Recruitment wing.
 

On 12.03.2015, Government of India issued orders restricting overseas recruitment of Indian Nurses through State run recruiting agents and Norka Roots  is one among the agencies entrusted for it. Norka Roots  started the recruitment process as per the procedures laid down by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs.  Norka recruits Nurses, Doctors, Technicians and Housemaids for various foreign employers in GCC countries. Transparency, quality recruitment service, minimum recruitment charges and corrupt free recruitment process are the hallmarks of Norka Recruitment wing. More than 1000 nurses and more than 189 housemaids have been recruited to gulf countries.

Process of Recruitment

1. Foreign Employer submits demands in eMigrate portal
2. Norka Roots acknowledges demand in eMigrate and obtains Country Specific Order (CSO) from MEA
3. Norka Roots publishes vacancies in www.norkaroots.net/www.jobsnorka.gov.in and in leading dailies
4. Job seekers can apply through the website www.norkaroots.net/www.jobsnorka.gov.in
5. Registered applicants will receive SMS alerts about vacancies
6. Interviews/sessions are conducted
7. Job offer letters are given to selected candidates
8. Attestation and Visa processing
9. Emigration Clearance
10. Deployment
