NORKA Care, introduced by the Government of Kerala through NORKA Roots, is the realization of this vision, raised at platforms including the Loka Kerala Sabha. It reflects the State Government’s strong commitment to the safety and welfare of Malayali expatriates worldwide.

About the Scheme
NORKA Care provides comprehensive health and accident insurance coverage for NRKs living abroad, within other Indian states, and for their families.
Eligibility
NRKs with a valid NORKA Pravasi ID Card
Kerala students studying abroad with a NORKA Student ID Card
NRKs residing in other Indian states with an NRK ID Card
Health Insurance – Group Personal Accident Mediclaim Policy
Coverage: ₹5,00,000 (with illness-specific sub-limits)
₹10 lakh Group Personal Accident Coverage
Premium (including GST):
Family Floater: Spouse + 2 children (up to 25 years) – ₹13,411
Individual (18–70 years): ₹8,101
Additional child (below 25 years): ₹4,130
Policy Term: 1 year (renewable)
Coverage:
Death: 100% of sum insured + Repatriation
Within India: ₹25,000
Outside India: ₹50,000
Permanent/total disability: 100% coverage
Permanent/partial disability: As per policy schedule

Group Registration:
Through NORKA-approved Pravasi organizations.
Non-approved associations will be issued a temporary ID number for mass enrollment.
Corporate Clients:
Special registration facility for companies employing a large Malayalee population abroad.
